Cabinet of Curiosities, Fesitval of Britain’s 75th Anniversary, 2026

Collaborators: Delvendahl Martin Architects + Poplar Harca. 
A collaborative project for Festival of Britain’s 75th Anniversary, I was commissioned to produce a series of 3D printed objects / artworks for a mobile Cabinet of Curiosities, representing local stories from the Lansbury Estate, Poplar, East London.

Follow the Worm, The Davidson Prize 2026

Collaborators: Delvendahl Martin, Elena Tamaosiunate, Dan Renoso-Urmston + Amy Clifton
An outdoor residential play strategy supporting SEN communities, our proposal describes a series of pocket play interventions located on interstitial, leftover spaces in Greater Manchester, informed by the pedagogies used in local SEN schools - the worm as a motif for open, respectful and imaginative play

The Pylon Network, Davidson Prize 2024
Chair’s Commendation Award

Collaborators: German Nieva + Elena Tamaosiunate
The Pylon Network is a new model of housing designed for off-grid, energy conscious living where pylon residents hold active agency over the construction, design and energy production of their own home.

Utilising over 90,000 pylons slowly being decommissioned or displaced from the National Grid as a framework for new homes, the proposal suggests ways in which residents may repurpose and retrofit the industrial monolithic steel frame as a comfortable off-grid living environment.

SUPERORGANISM
Barbican Centre, 2023

Collaborators: Lily Hunter-Green + Marie-Louise Jones
A multi-disciplinary public programme working alongside artists, creative professionals, producers, participants and a wider public, this project explored the notion of building as a co-operative SUPERORGANISM through a series of workshops, installations and events in the Barbican Conservatory.

Cambium Treehouse Project
Kew Gardens, 2023

Collaborators: Delvendahl Martin + Marie-Louise Jones
The Cambium Treehouse was a collaborative proposal for a treehouse installation at Kew Gardens, developed with Delvendahl Martin and Marie-Louise Jones. The project involved conceptual and technical development, including the production of visualisations and spatial mapping to consider how visitors might move through, interact with and inhabit a cambium-inspired structure.

UN REPERTORIO IMPROBABLE

A visual identity and graphic artwork for Jorge Yeregui’s exhibition at ECCO Cádiz. The project included a designed publication and exhibition graphics and map, using a distinct visual language to frame, contextualise and connect the works presented throughout the exhibition.

Yasmin Lennon-Chong is a multi-designer, maker, researcher + creative collaborator based in London, UK,  working across visual media, 3D, product + spatial design practice.

Producing creative outcomes for exhibitions, public engagement projects, creative platforms and academic + commercial initiatvies combined, her research-led and practice-based approach makes connections between design engineering, semiotic language and spatial agency; operating as both designer-citizen and citizen-designer interchangeably.

With interests spanning environmentalism, material and ecological discourse and the creative / digital prototyping of both speculative and practical interventions as constructing visual narratives and a form of functional propositioning.  . 

Currently open to multidisciplinary collaborations, freelance projects and creative commissions.
